Glad you like it. What do you mean by realized a tutorial? Do you mean have I watched a tutorial, or do you mean have a made a tutorial for others to watch?

Nice. What's the new blender interface like? I've heard it's more user friendly than before. Wondering about revisiting it.

It is more user friendly to non-blender users, definitely. People who are used to pre-2.5 blender are going have to relearn some stuff. It's definitely more intuitive and well organised as far as I'm concerned. And I'm always available if you need any help

Thanks Dave, I really appreciate it. It'll be a few months at the very least. I have an old project in the works in C4D I want to get back to, but I need to buy a new heatsink for the PC. It gets too hot when I render and shuts down. But that might be another month or two before I can get it. I've already spent most of this month's 'fun money' on stuff, and next month most of that money will be spent on my dog for his meds but if I have any left over at the end of them month I'll put it into the heatsink I'm looking at. Need to measure to be sure it will fit in my case. The main reason I'm even looking at blender again is its free, its always had nice output I just could never wrap my head around it, and I can't afford to upgrade C4D, I'm still running 10.1.
Hmmmm? Just had a thought, could try to import my models for the project in progress before I rig and see if rigging and animating works for me in Blender. I'll download it when I get the heatsink and play with it and see what happens. And I just may have to pick your brain, mind if I use a fork?

As long as it's not a gardening fork. Have you tried cleaning out your PC of dust and maybe applying some more thermal paste to the processor? I had the same problem with my PC and that fixed it.

yup I've done all that. I built the pc, and it was fine for a while, but it's stock fan and I've read a lot of complaints on the stock fan not quite being up to par for the AMD processor I have. Basically ppl are saying it is the same fan for the lower processors. But yeah at Christmas time I wanted to render an image in different dimensions from a contest i entered the year before, and I went through all of that with little to no improvement.
