This is my tribute to Tom Petty. I've been part of the Trembling Wilburys, a fantastic Traveling Wilburys tribute band, for almost exactly seven years so it felt pretty weird finding out that one of the Wilburys' half-brothers had passed away. A very strange feeling, almost as though there were some kind of connection. I play the part of Roy Orbison in the band and I am, in fact, a professional Roy Orbison tribute artist. This picture is what I was inspired to paint after hearing of Tom's untimely death.
