Yeah. Except that if the genders were reversed, the two wouldn't be the same characters, so you might as well replace every single instance that your comment happens in daily conversation with 'If santa beat his wife nobody would want him coming down their chimney every year'. I sort of hate people who make this sort of comment with no thought to the actual context of the scene they're commenting on.
Assuming that the characterizations didn't vary so wildly that reversing their genders would ruin the joke, the reaction wouldn't necessarily default to 'omg abuse!!!!!' considering how the fanbase views Damian as a character. He can be an irritating, arrogant little punk who might actually benefit from being backhanded across the face when he starts talking smack once in a while. Giving him boobs wouldn't change that.

Gates of Gotham is amazing writing. And I like how Cass is part of it. Much thanks to the writer. It's sad to think this will probably be the last we'll see of Cass once the DCU is rebooted in September, at least till 2012.

I think that Damian might already idolise her, in the first issue when she appeared all he did was hang around in the back staring at her. Plus when he first met Steph he instantly started complaining about how she wasn't Cass, and said that he imagined that Cass would be "magnificent."
