Description

After running through the jungle for a brief time, Alex finally reaches the camp, but when he arrives, he sees that the camp is being torn down by several men of all shapes and sizes. There were tall and large men, carrying several crates and boxes towards a ship on the nearby coast, while several short and skinny men roll barrels to the shoreline. Alex is confused to see what’s going on. But as he watches the camp be taken down, he spots both Clhristopher and Lyndsey arguing with a man in blue uniform—the ship’s captain.

Christopher: You're the captain! Just tell them you had engine trouble and give us two more days!

Captain: And be late at every port from here to London?

Lyndsey: But we'll have come all this way for nothing!

Captain: I’m sorry, Miss Clarke, but I simply can't do it! *Turns and heads back to the shore*

After the owner of the ship leaves, Christopher begins to show his fury at how this expedition seemed all for nothing.

Christopher: This is your fault, Lyndsey! I should've followed my instincts and set traps for the beasts!

Lyndsey: Don't you think I'm disappointed about the animals? You are absolutely impos—Alex!

Lyndsey notices Alex too late, suddenly bumping into him amidst all the confusion. But as they bumped each other, Alex’s bouquet was suddenly destroyed.
