Description
This is just a test drawing for the basic Metarex enemies in the stages of Cosmic Rush. It's supposed to look like the Metarex from the Sonic X episode with the big brawl of Metarex robots. The fans of the show will know what I'm talking about

I remember these guys. The standard grunts of the Metarex forces. I loved them as a standard enemy though.

Love the detail. I've always wondered how these little guys came to be in the Sonic universe; they don't really ressemble Seedrians in the slightest, so I imagine the five commanders must've incorporated them from some other culture that they conquered. Perhaps that would also explain why the commanders' armor looks human in proportion, rather than Seedrian (besides the fact that it's a nod to fighting robot animes).
