This is my 100th WiR piece in my WiR DA gallery!

My fanfic ‘For Good’ is going to introduce a lot of headcanons and ideas I have for the WiR universe. I always like to add something new with every story I write to expand this virtual arcade world in any way, but with this one, I want to bump up the amount of new lore brought to the table. Small things and big things to showcase how this world runs and what laws it abides by. What kinds of things impossible to the human world can work in theirs, and simultaneously what is impossible to them that is normal for us? Here are 2 small ones to kick us off. Both are for the story’s lead character Adorabeezle.

First up: she is the fastest of the racers. Vanellope may be the top champion behind the wheel, but Adorabeezle is the fastest on foot. She can run, ski, and skate faster than anyone else. And when she does, she kicks up a trail of red, white, and blue stars that materialize behind her and then disappear quickly after. When the ice cream truck is in sight, Adorabeezle doesn’t have to put much effort to be first in line for a double-dipped spumoni cone with extra toffee sprinkles; she just naturally finds herself in front! Any foot race is pretty much hers for the taking.

The second headcanon is a curious quirk that allows Adorabeezle to glide effortlessly upon any surface. It’s like she can skate without skates or even a rink. Similar to Joy from Inside Out who can skate with just her own feet or Shadow the Hedgehog himself, Adorabeezle uses this ability to move swiftly along any terrain from rocky roads to frozen molasses. She can’t explain how this works; perhaps her programming as an expert skater includes being able to skate anywhere she wants? Whatever it is, it gives her the excuse to do what she loves on a whim! And get to places she needs to be fast. She personally thinks it’s something to do with her boots. They seem to be extra aerodynamic, seemingly making her hover a few inches above the ground when she picks up speeds to give her this free-skating ability. They possibly may be the reason why she’s such a fast runner. Citrusella wishes she could have this cool feature; it’s like Adorabeezle can roller skate!
