Description What you've already read:
These are for my Computer-Aided Design class. I'm designing for Spring/Summer 2009, playing with 40's and 50's tailoring, splicing that with Christian Iconography of the Martyr St. Sebastian (shot through with arrows, if you didn't know). The collection has a focus on occasion dressing, like, dressing for dinner, looking proper, etc.

What's new:
So, here are the final illustrations from my finals. Flats were [supposed to be] with this for the final presentation. (They weren't done, f*cking overload at school this quarter, I swear to God.)

These are the casual-chic pieces, arrow-accented seperates of light suitings and shirtweights with gold thread embroidery and red insets.

Line drawings from the sketchbook, brought into to Photoshop and colored. Hope you like!

Very nice. Second from the left and the center figure are your strongest designs here.

Oh, I drew them by hand, and then colored them in Photoshop.

Haha thakns--it's a pity the only to view the textures in the fabric on all of these illustrations is to download them and view them full-size. :/

ah.
i love all of your illustrations...the little arrow motifs and the pleats and high waisted skirts. i'm sure that all of this stuff would look great on a runway, and i can't wait to see what else you come up with. <3

Ohhhh Praise from THE Christopher John. Thank you thank you.

See, if only I hadn't been swamped working on this project, I would've gotten my pieces in for the contest in on time. I guess I'll have to wait and catch the next one. ...which will probably be around the time I audition for Project Runway as well.
