My first artwork of the new year, and once again, it is an art trade with BoredKaiju , whose characters I am addicted to drawing. The bigger one is named Clyde, who is a fox-bear plushie, and you can see his reference here:

The mouse is my character, Ariel, and they are both running down this hill while flying off-screen kites. If this looks softer than usual, that's because I dropped the "Clarity" quality on the photo editor to negative 100, which creates this pseudo-blurriness and blending that I really like. Given Clyde's extremely happy-go-lucky nature, I thought it would be appropriate. This is also actually the very first drawing of Ariel I've made in a while where she is actually smiling a little. Thank you for allowing me to draw your character, and I look forward to drawing your dino OC in a little while!
