Description
Spoilers ahead if you haven't read WANTED.This is my Day-10 Inktober sketch from last year just colored in. The character's name is Ronald, and the setting here is an orphanage where the caretakers and guardians don't care a whole lot about the children. He and his sister, Cecilia, were taken in when he was just 6, and she was 2. One night early on, he overheard one of their caretakers talking over the phone about how she was thrilled to take in these two children; not because their well-being mattered to her, but because it meant more funding for their orphanage. He was young, but not ignorant, so he understood what that meant. He looks outside the window, hoping one day to be someone's son again, and that that someone would actually care about him and Cecilia. The answer to his prayer one day would come through by a wolf named Marcus, but that answer did not come easily.

First chapter of WANTED:
WANTED - Chapter 1Chapter 1
“But Ronald! I’m so tired, and my legs hurt! Can we stop now?” Cecilia begged and whined.
“We can’t stop...what if the fire...gets us?” The older squirrel responded to his sister through intermittent grunts. His legs were aching too, but the fire and dense smoke were not far behind them. It had already demolished the only world they’ve ever known, and he wasn’t about to let himself nor Cecilia become its next victims.
Eventually, hot gray ash began to fall upon them, like a cursed snowfall. Not only did it singe their fur, but it sought to find abode in their already tired lungs.
“It’s so hot!” Cecilia cried as ash came to rest on her back.
“Let’s go in there! Follow me!” Ronald spotted a burrow that he hoped would provide some solace. He led the way, going in first, with Cecilia quickly following. He told his sister to turn around so he could brush away the ash sprinkled on her back. Thankful
Also, since I am in the midst of playing it, this soundtrack from the Switch version of Link's Awakening could fit perfectly with the image:

P.S. This dungeon theme is now one of my favorite pieces of video game music I've ever heard. When I first entered this dungeon, I had to stop just to listen to it. If you know about the game's plot, you might know why the theme is so tragic.
