If anybody had been curious about what Kuthein look like under the hood, this is technically what they look like.

Well, this one is Quip, at least.

I had this done a while ago and had been busy with stuff so I couldn't get to posting it earlier. BUT IT'S HERE NOW, SO THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS.

Kuthein are highly bioluminescent and come in varying shades, hues, and tones with black markings that decorate their skin. Their eyes, soft tissues, and blood are also bioluminescent. About 99% of them are hermaphroditic with the remaining 1% defecting to a full male or female genotype as a throwback, though no preference or stigma is attached to individuals who are affected.

They are also rather genderfluid but individuals tend to call themselves one way or the other to further define themselves to others. It is extremely common for a Kuthein to consider themselves singly male or female or neither or both and will refer to themselves as 'he', 'she', 'they', and etc respectively. There are no gender stereotypes in Kuthein culture and everybody is expected to become their own person in one way or another.

Those with a lesser virtue of loyalty are allowed to leave as they see fit and will not face any consequence in leaving the tribe or family group as long as no ill will preceded the desire to wander. Family groups are also defined by the strength of relationships with others--not by blood alone. The most common 'family' group is comprised of individuals with strong bonds with one another unrelated by genetics. All comers are welcome.
