Olympia Butterfly was known as the most smartest Queen that ever lived. She knew everything about anything. Olympia was so smart, that she could've possibly been smarter than Glossaryck himself.

Olympia only knew a lot since she always studied about something to expand her knowledge. It was her destiny to know so many things about every possible concept that was out there. For there was nothing she did not know.

This may sound good and all, but her knowledge came at a price; her Mother, Galaxy, was completely jealous and their relationship was horrible; especially since Olympia strongly disagreed with how Galaxy ruled and disagreed with how she neglected the Peasants just to please the Nobles. Olympia even disagreed with Galaxy's treatment towards the Monsters.

Using her knowledge and a item called the Infinitium Sphere, Olympia decided to craft a complicated spell that would fix her Mother’s mistakes. Galaxy saw this and it broke out into an argument between Mother and Daughter. Afterwards, Olympia resumed the spell and casted it.

Unfortunately, because of Olympia's bad luck and her emotional state amidst the heated argument, she caused a portal to open, releasing primitive like creatures called Beasts all over Mewni; pretty much making things worse and beginning the Dark Ages.

Olympia would feel guilt for what she caused and have to live with regret, until the birth of her only child, Planetia Butterfly.

Is she smarter than Glossaryck? More like just as smart....kinda.

Her and the Infinitium Sphere are very important within the Celestiaverse.
