yeah, good to know man... I have been meaning to step my coloring game up, and this definetly helps... and knowin that you are still in the mouse age too makes it all the more doable for me! Thanks bro.

How do you organise your layers? I mean, if there is more than one color in the illustration, would you still just have one layer for all of the flats, one layer for the highlights and one for all the shadows or do ou use a whole lot of layers and have 3 (flat, highlihgt and shadow) for all the colors on he pic? Just wondering.

And do you use a wacom tablet to make the selections with the lasso tool or just a mouse?

I am one curious sunnuva bitch...

theCHAMBA In reply to EricGravel [2005-02-13 23:07:28 +0000 UTC]

A WHOLE LOtta layers...
which is the flattened in the end..

all mouse.. i don't own a tablet

ThyLaSlain [2005-02-13 18:18:32 +0000 UTC]

should try this out. i wonder though, why blue-ish purple for shading? is there any method to ur choosing the colours? (apart from the base colour of course)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

theCHAMBA In reply to ThyLaSlain [2005-02-13 22:19:48 +0000 UTC]

yep..
ost definately..

you could choose any shade coluor besides purple/blue.. for example a darkreish/orange.. for say... one where the some is heavy... to create moods.. alter the colours up.. even the layer settings and opacity.. just to what yuo may prefer..
