Alright, It was inevitable that I do a piece of the Little mermaid for my February Draw-a-day over @ the sketchtavern.
As much as that film seems to be directed toward the female audience, I enjoy this film quite a lot.
Great lead, classy supporting characters, one devious villain and to top it off, an ace soundtrack!
So here's my rendition of that scene, sub-par to the original (as only one inspired by could hope to achieve) but an attempt none the less.
Finished the lines, and Ariels colours before me midnight deadline, but w/ me mates being over couldn't step back to the comp to beat the clock. Ohwell, here it is now, fully completed.

I love it... have you noticed that the movie's content is a little bit more... mature than other similar movies... at least that's what I think... miss it...

I love this so much. It perfectly captures the scene from the movie (which is a big favorite of mine) and at the same time you truly made the moment your own. It is so much more than a recreated scene. The expression is wonderful, her eyes really seem to be looking for her goal (already off in the future), and the colors are beautiful.

Nicely done! (Faves and recommends) If it's not Glen Keane-like, it's not by much and it still looks professional to me because it reminds me of the art style seen in Persona 3 and Persona 4.
