Description
Full-Colour commission for of his original characters.Based on a written description, I did my best to depict the piece.
Had fun w/ this one.
funny that even though i was looking @ lots of sunrises to get the sky looking proper, it kinda looks like a sunset.

Pink, blue, and purpleish hues in the sky and on the figures will give the sunrise feeling, although this piece is absolutely beautiful, and the mood is great.

Don't comment normally.. always feel like it'd be redundant to say how amazing your stuff is, but I thought I'd throw out a suggestion for making the piece look more like a sunrise and not a sunset. You need to put morning dew on the grass. I think that would help set the time of day. Not that you want to go back in and do that, but for next time you have a sunrise.

chamba, i've found that sunrises are mostly blue at first, then part of the land and sky looks like day time and the other thats farthiest from the sun rise looks blue still, when it acttualy starts to peek out from the horizon it's really bright i mean brighter than normal, cause of the contrast of the night blue sky, it looks amazing, least thats how it is where i live, but at first mostly blue i would say.

I'd like to comment on the amazing coloring. That and the incredible shading, the stunning designs for all the characters, meaning the simplicity of the boy and girl, while the robot just looks freaking awesome. All of this, AND the amount of detail in the wheat field, plus the sunrise as a background instead of a plain blue sky. I'd like to comment on all that, but all I have to say is: EPIC WIN!!!

Awesome work. I am no where close to your artistic level. But I have to share with you that you think your sunrise looks like a sunset because of all the warm lighting that you're using. The atmosphere in the morning is a lot cooler so the light from the sun is cool. While the light from the sun during sunset is even warmer because the atmosphere has already been warmed throughout the day. I helps and made sense. CHEERS!!!

sunrises and sunsets often look the same.
In Michigan, the sunrises have more violet and pink in them, and the sunsets have more red and orange.
But other than that- the same.
