Day 12 of Sketchtavern's Draw-A-Day brings yet another Disney Tribute.When I first watched this flick those many years ago, I absolutely fell in love w/ their usage of colours. Fantastic they were. Apart from that, I absolutely loved the look of Pocahontas. Her facial structure just appealed to me, artistically.
Anyway I think tomorrows challenge might bring up a villain this time. Which villain, I do not know. Most likely one from a film I have yet to do a tribute for.

I think my toes just curled. Colors of the Wind is by far my most favorite Disney song clips, and my favorite part of the whole thing was her face flowing in the wind. This reminded me of that.
The figures in this one I don't like so much; I've seen better in your gallery. But the wind-face is very nice.

This movie has to be one of the best Disney's work for coloring! And the style is unqiue in itself.
The Journey to a New world, one was okay (but it didnt even come close to the first one, she doesnt even end up with the guy!!)
I'd like to say now that I am an avid old Disney's fan (not so much for the now digital anime, only a few) becasue my mom collects Disney Movies. Only a few she's missing, like Tarzan and stuff, but remeber the Oristicats, or The Great Mouse Detective? How about that other mouse one...um, with the two mice flying on the giant seagull and savign that kid from that animal hunter in Australia and savingt he girl from her evil aunt who wants to get that pirates dimond thing. (Maybe you know...)
Anywho, I'm an old Disney lover and this movie rocks! Too bad they dont make Pochahantas an avid Disney princess in todays society (same thing could be said for Mulan). Maybe they prefer the others...
