Description
Day 12 of Sketchtavern's Draw-A-Day brings yet another Disney Tribute. When I first watched this flick those many years ago, I absolutely fell in love w/ their usage of colours. Fantastic they were. Apart from that, I absolutely loved the look of Pocahontas. Her facial structure just appealed to me, artistically.
Anyway I think tomorrows challenge might bring up a villain this time. Which villain, I do not know. Most likely one from a film I have yet to do a tribute for.

I love the way you've depicted Pocahontas's face with the colours of the wind. A beautiful touch indeed!

Pocahontas and The Lion King are my favorite disney movies, and you did a truly wonderful job.
As for villian goes, I would say Malificant would be pretty neat, she's got the whole dramatic evil appearance and face and everything. It'd be very interesting, artistically, especially more so than some of the more goofy villains like hook or hades etc

I have to agree with you. Pocahontas really took using color to a new level.
Wonderful rendition. I love how you've incorporated the colors in the wind!

If you take requests at all, and are sticking with mostly Disney movies for the time being, I'd love to see you do something from "The Great Mouse Detective"

Oh yes, I loved that movie.
I still think Pocahontas is just BEAUTIFUL.
And that song was so amazing.
All the songs were. Because they were so.. unique and different, and she had such a melodious voice.
This is so beautiful. I love the difference between John Smith and Pocahontas.
And hah, it took me a while to see Pocahontas in the "colors of the wind".

Pocahontas is one of my favorite Disney films, because the art is so darn fluid and stunning. I've always felt that she was the prettiest of the Disney princesses, since her face and structure were so striking and strong.
This is a gorgeous tribute :3 The sweeping hair and the face in the sky are really true to the film. <3

I adore the background on this one. A villain? Ooh-I hope it's a sexy one!
Pocahontas was not my favorite movie when I was little because I thought that Pocahontas was going to marry John Smith. I did not know at the time that this movie was based upon actual history.

John Smith was a pedophile who looked nothing like the John Smith of the movies. Disney should take a big 'L' for that.
