Nyoka the Snivy

Growing in a small, unknown village in Tao Woods, Nyoka grew bored of the life he had and ran off to have an adventure. He works well with people but will stand his ground and turn against anyone who takes an authoritative role over him. He's trying to override this trait he has, however, as the reason why he takes the missions he's given by Gunpowder and Devonshire. Like any grass type would be, he doesn't exactly like the cold that has dropped upon Tao Village, but can handle it better than others. He also isn't necessarily friendly, and will do anything to get what he wants.

Moves
Leaf Blade - Nyoka swings his tail fast enough to slice through flesh. His new shackle prevents this, but it helps give a mighty punch.
Coil - Nyoka constricts his body in preparation to strike, tensing his reflexes and muscles to help make better attacks and avoid others.
Glare - Nyoka gives a cold stare to an opponent, nerving them to the point of paralysis
Pursuit - Running at full speed, Nyoka charges at the foe and chases them for a tackle.

Did you know?...
Nyoka has a large amount of money stored at Auntie Kanga's Storage, something Buwaya has recently learned during Event 4.
Though it was originally a peace offering from Buwaya, Nyoka likes to use his shackle when he uses Leaf Blade, which is swinging his tail around to strike a foe.
He is one of the few Pokemon who doesn't fear Devonshire, and actually finds his quirks annoying
Nyoka is Swahili for 'snake.'

Buwaya the Croconaw

Living in sunny Alomomola Bay working part time at the docks, Buwaya soon grew tired of the Merchants trying to run an honest business while pulling dirty tricks. Afterwards, he decided to set up traps on paths for Merchants to fall in and to scam them into giving him money, sort of like Robin Hood. His traps are actually how Nyoka and him met. When they started talking, they both decided to make a team for the Rogues.

Moves
Aqua Jet - Buwaya envelops himself in water and rockets towards his target at high speed
Ice Fang - Ice envelops Buwaya's mouth and he bites onto his foes to release cold energy onto his foes.
Dig - Pretty much what you expect. He digs a hole. He's a good digger too. Not Excadrill or Dugtrio good, but still good.
Surf - Buwaya rides a wave of water he summons to wash over his targets. He may end up washing over his partners a little bit. He can also be ridden on for transportation over bodies of water.

Did you know?...
Buwaya has a nasty sweet tooth, and ever since he learned of Nyoka's secret money stash, he has been sneaking small amounts of money to buy sweets
Buwaya is the most social of the two, and as such makes Nyoka try to be more social at times, even if it means biting him with an Ice Fang.
Buwaya is Filipino for 'crocodile'

Tuco the Aron

Growing up in Missy's Hatchery, Tuco one day got separated from the Daycare when he journeyed too far from Tao. He stumbled upon Nyoka and Buwaya while they were heading to Tao Ranch for Mission Six, and developed an attraction to Nyoka, like a pet would. Tuco never behaves badly and is well tempered, never going out of his way to fight. No matter how many times Nyoka may go into a rage or other mood swing, Tuco still thinks fondly of him.

Moves
Head Smash - Tuco rushes at the opponent in order to tackle the opponent with a massive and reckless headbutt. Because of Rock Head, it causes no recoil, however.
Protect - A barrier of light projects around Tuco that prevents and damage. The longer the barrier is used, including if it is used for a long time or turned on and off continually, the weaker it gets and more likely it will shatter.
Double Team - Multiple illusions are made to make it look like Tuco is in more than one place. An illusion can use Protect only once before vanishing
Earthquake - Tuco strikes the earth with such force that the earth tremours, causing damage to anyone depending on how fierce the attack is.

Did you know...?
Tuco can't talk yet. At the most, he can bark and yap, but it's still hard to communicate with him.
Despite his young age and size, he is able to fight very well.
The name Tuco comes from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," Tuco being "The Ugly," though the main influence of the character comes from my Golden Retriever, which is where the name comes from.

Honne the Charmeleon

She joined the team when Buwaya was teleported to the past along with the other half of Tao Village. Living in the Prismatic Jungle for her whole life, Honne was practically a slave to the dragons that served under Tivoli. Enduring horribly scaring events, she eventually survived long enough to find a chance to escape. She ended up meeting with Buwaya after a mistake with bed placement, and ever since then, they have become very close with one another. She tends to be a bit of a pushover, and is easily frightened. She tends to be in a good mood though, and rarely gets into fits of rage.

Moves
Flamethrower - a trademark move for her species. She ejects a steady stream of fire from her mouth, which has as much power as shown by her tail flame.
Dragon Dance - Honne starts a powerful dance, giving the illusion of raw power coming off of her. Her own power, stamina and agility gets heightened as a result
Attract - Honne tries to seduce the opponent, usually by doing a seductive dance. This is usually accompanied with Dragon Dance. She won't say why she does this.
Slash - Using her claws, Honne swings at her opponent, hoping to cause bodily harm to them.

Did you know?
She hates any dragon type and draconic looking Pokemon, especially Charzairds. She will refuse to associate with them unless their is no other option.
She doesn't like to talk a lot about her past, though she does provide something once in a while.
She is very attached to Buwaya, who was the first Pokemon to truly show good will to her.

What else should you know?
Pretty much the real purpose of this team is to have coverage on all teams, so they are usually more of a comic relief. They do have a bit of a story though.
The combo of the two is like a regular team off of the PMD Explorers games, and these are also my two favourite starters as well.
