Here is my submission to 's Jubliee RedesignThe restrictions were: Graphite/Lead Pencil only, and to not simply redraw her. but to redesign her of course. I did an attempt at shading traditionally which I've neverrr really done. Thought it came out alright.
Kept the glasses(shades?), always thought those were cool lol. But updated her suit to make it fall in line with the current x men suits, although modified, as a teenager would.
I used photo reference for the pose [link] but changed a few things here and there.

Not a problem.
Anyway, I bring up Jubilee because I have a fascination with designing/redesigning comic book characters.
Though I don't really have the talent or skills to really give them life so I work with other artists to help bring the ideas to life.
Among them are my "Amalgam Comics" designs. If you don't know, years ago, Marvel and DC got together and created "Amalgam Comics" and essentially fused their characters together. Such as Captain America and Superman to create "Super Soldier". Batman and Wolverine to create "Dark Claw". Storm and Wonder Woman to create "Amazon". And my favorite, Iron Man and Green Lantern to create "Iron Lantern".
A few of them I redesigned but others I came up with on my own. Such as fusing Power Girl and Miss Marvel to create "Miss Power"

My current Jubilee is a little... slapdash. I've started to really like the character though, I think I want to do a better version. This is a great drawing though, thank you so much for sharing it.
