Colored pencil drawing I did of my mermaid lineart.Photo taken with my iPhone, as I am currently without a scanner...this photo does it no justice!

Her face and the waces look great, but her right hand seems a bit too small and I think it would look even better if you made her fin a bit bigger.

Yep, it was haha. Noticed that after I inked! It's a traditional piece though, so unfortunately I can't fix my lines.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one! That's one of the downsides of working traditionally. Always so difficult to fix a mistake! Can't just erase it off a layer in Photoshop

This is really pretty! Something like a oriental tattoo design. I think I get that impression from the waves and her fair skin&face. Her hair is very nice as well...long beachy waves! I think it would be even nicer to look at it if the canvas was slightly bigger and I could see the frame that the waves makes around her. Cutting off some parts of the image can have it's benefit to create interest and mystery as to what is off the picture, but in this case I think having the entire subject within the picture would be better. Other than that this is a very beautiful work. ^_^

I've always liked the idea of mermaids and all - especially if they're drawn in a super creepy and horrific way.
Anyways, I like this, though. It's calm and cute and pleasing to the eye. This is truly very artful and all. Her hair looks beautifully detailed and along with her eyes. Her face is so subtle - I like how her nose isn't drawn completely, I don't like it when people draw out noses so much, so the nose you drew her was perfect.
