I love mixed media and I love how you used the watercolors! The hair demanded attention and you can tell you dedicated some time to it. Did it sell?

Happy to say it did! And definitely did. It's funny, for something as small as it was (postcard size), I definitely did dedicate more time than I thought I would to it!

I did test out the idea of a print, yes! I ran some test ones recently at my house.

Hmmm, try some prints at office depot or fed ex, try and get a scanner with a really great dpi count.
Maybe pre-game it and ask around to see which prints people would buy.

My scanner is actually pretty awesome. The only thing that stinks about it is the bed can't handle some of my larger drawings. But at least I still have my Rebel to take photos of those!

I like the style that you used here. The super detailed hair and the simple female silouettes. The contrast of the too really pop, I'm glad you put a bit of color in as well. I think this picture is a good illustration of restraint, because too much color would have destroyed this, nice work!

Wow, I'm surprised that this piece doesn't have that much recognition! This is simply beautiful and creative - I love the faces; they hold so much emotion.

Thank you! This was an auction piece that I donated, so I was trying to get as much out of the little postcard sized space as I could. I really don't think that this piece would have held up without the paint; it's what really gives it more depth.

I find it rather odd that among all the comments you have and all the feature you must have gotten no one ever saw this as their favorite piece. I between the pieces I've seen in your gallery this is the one picture that tougpch me the most. I feel like there's an emotion in their faces even though on can nly see the tears. An amazing piece of art to saynthe least!
