Why does it have to be clear? Is love ever clear when it comes to finding the truth between love and good friendship? Hell, no.
Yes, friendship is the main focus theme of the show, but friendship is love. When people have friends they care deeply for they usually love them, not always in a romantic way, but its common to. When it comes to Discord and Fluttershy what they have can be called love either way. People saying that they have something romantic going on are neither right or wrong, and I'm one of those people that admit that. Shipping that doesn't include a cannon pair is basically like theory. A lot of theories are right, a lot of theories are wrong. Oh, and your comment on children being exposed to love? Go to Disney channel. They have teenagers expressing their love clearly on camera, like basic appropriate kissing, and they even had a lesbian couple on there. Like I said, love is love.
By the way, I never said I'd like to see them making out. I like the art because it's well done and I bet the person who created the piece worked their ass off to express their talent in the form of love that simply radiates off the picture! It's not even nasty, it's beautiful.

Um, I blush around my friends all the frikin time it doesn't matter in what context! And, by the way, I'd gladly sleep on top of them in flowers if they so wished for their comfort because I'd do anything for my friends as long as they weren't hurting anybody, including themselves. There are a lot of happy couples in this world who are in love with men and women much older or younger than them and it is commonly an extremely healthy relationship for all/both partners. Look into your family tree, there's bound to be a large age gap between some of your ancestors making it so if they never got together you wouldn't even exist, which I wouldn't want either way because...well, we don't need one less person in this world regardless! By the way, if you actually read the rest of what I had to say you would have seen that I'm not hating on you and that it hurts me to hear that you think large age gaps are grotesque because personally most of my family have had age gaps large and small. The bigger the gap, the better the relationship, so far in my family tree.
I, personally, have a thing for older men only because they sometimes sync with my maturity level. I've fallen for a guy seven years older than me, and I'm only fourteen.

I never said to date your grandfather's friend and I wouldn't do that either because I'm not looking for a sugar daddy, I'm looking for a man to sync with my maturity level

If you're going to insist, I wouldn't date somebody who was eight because that is before you hit puberty and it's hard to love like that romantically when you have no hormones that help the process. I, however, have gone through puberty so I can fall in love with someone.
