Description
Guess who recently unlocked the Ultimate Sacrifice achievement? (I'd actually done it months ago on the Xbox, but finally did it for the PC).There's a second page, but it's not done yet. This page took a LOT longer to color than I expected (I spent about... 8 hours on this, from start to finish?), so you guys'll have to wait until later for page 2.
For now, I need sleep. XP

The US ending was so tragic. 
You picked an interesting color theme for this scene; I would've considered blue tones as the first option but I think these dirty yellows and browns not only fit Redcliffe's looks but also add more "weight". The blurry backgrounds are also an interesting touch.
Hm, Alistair's expression, or lack thereof, bothers me a bit however.

Have you seen page 2 of this? There's a link in the description of this page. Also, there's a reason for the sepia and the blurred backgrounds, but I won't say why here. If you can't tell why after seeing page 2, I'll tell you.
As for Alistair - I just drew him pretty much how he appeared in the screencap of the same scene for me.

What I never understood is this: you know when the Archdemon dies, there's a huge explosion on the tower? How is it that the Grey Warden manages to stay in one piece?
Anyway! Great piece, can't wait for page two. I especially like how bereft Leliana is compared to how peaceful Legam looks.

Most epic. I chose the other paths and got both "Let's have an Antichrist baby" and "Let the other sucker do it" achievements

The US is not Legam's real ending; I did it for the achievement. He officially goes the "demon baby" route - but makes Alistair do it.
So what if it's not heroic? It's human to want to save yourself. I prefer flawed heroes over perfect ones.

I had to force myself to do it. It's not his canon ending, but I wanted the PC achievement/I was in the mood for some game angst.

Man, I am such a sucker for the US ending. Hits me every time. I like the muted colors you used here; very effective. Poor leli... doesn't she commit suicide in the epilogue or something if she's not hardened?

I've never had a Warden where it was the canon ending; I have a few I intend it to be their real ending, but I haven't gotten that far with them yet.
The suicide thing is a popular fan interpretation of her unhardened/romanced ending. It's never outright stated.

I have mixed feelings about the US ending. It's a well done tradgety (especially if you were romancing somebody), but it's so sad... I cried the first time I did it on my Xbox, even though it wasn't the "canon" ending for my Warden. Didn't cry this time, but it still made me feel really sad.
