--Office D45, private office of Almedha--

While being currently unoccupied by their commander, first lieutenant Skalli was standing straight on one side of the room. Almedha had ordered her to meet her for a quick briefing about a ten minutes ago and as usual, Skalli was twenty minutes ahead of schedule.

That was about half an hour ago and yet she hadn't moved or stirred even once. It was fine with her, after all she had nothing better to do in the first place.

At this moment, the automatic door swung open and made way for Almedha. Her appearance however was slightly...damaged. Her metallic right arm only seemed to be held together by a few remaining screws, her black cloak was even more torn than usual and her main weapon of choice, her hammer, seemed to have been scorched by an intense heat.

But all this paled in comparison to the rest of her. Almedha's usual rust-colored skin was barely visible and the amount of scars she had so far had at least doubled, while a major part of her body was still flaring in the color of molten metal, leaving trails of smoke behind her.

And yet, Almedha barely seemed to be fazed by it, only exhausted at best...an impressive enough statement, considering her monstrous stamina and endurance.

"Another quarrel with Sturmfaust, commander?" Skalli replied, still not moving a single inch.

Before Almedha replied, she pressed her left hand against her neck and let it crack loudly in both direction, before she continued her way to her desk and set down for a moment.

"Pah! That windbag wouldn't even bother me that much, if I would set his hat on fire! No... Oh no.... I had a... heated argument with... our both friend and superior..."

Only now Skalli's position seemed change, the recognition of who Almedha meant by that statement. Her whole body twitched for the blink of an eye, before she found her composure back and continued.

"Have there been problems with the schedule?"

"Nah... He just was a little bit pissed, when I refused to waltz over a territory, where rumors of a resistance are spreading."

"You refused the order, commander?"

"Yup... and it ended up in an argument about morals, goals and what-the-hell-ever."

Halting midspeech, Almedha leaned forward, while her hand was moving slowly over a still seething wound on her chest.

"And that's where I saw something interesting!"

"Something interesting, commander?"

"Yes... I saw what Walter is truly capable of..."

Seeing the image of her superior in her mind again... the dark metallic colossus in black and purple... with lines of energy flaring in an aggressive golden shine...

Almedha couldn't herself but to burt into laughter whole-heartly.

It was just too priceless. For the first time, she had seen what Walter Black was actually capable of and just why he alone held the title of Iron King, the monster of cold steel that had singlehandedly broken the spine of the united kingdoms of the North with his bare hands.

For her, it was just too entertaining to let it slip by.

After she caught herself and took a deep breath, Almedha knocked her chair back and stood up again.

Right now, not only her body was burning, but her mind and soul as well.

"Skalli! Head to D51 and inform the construction team to give their best for our little project! While you're at it, drop a note to Hati and tell her to increase the exercises. I want all of my Warangels motivated and hungry for blood!"

Skalli made a step forward and turned towards Almedha, before she saluted stiffly.

"Yes, commander. I assume you're going to do something about yourself first?"

"Yeah... I'll head to the flesh forge and give myself an improved coating. After that, I'll head to the Sisters and accelerate the process of the main project."

With that said, Skalli saluted once more and headed out instantly.

Almedha however took one more minute to savor the image in her mind, the image of Walter Black, showing a part of his real potential...

"RELEASING PHYSICAL LIMITERS."

That crushing, overwhelming force of presence...

"GENERATOR LOCKS DISENGAGED. SWITCHING TO OUTPUT PATTERN GAMMA."

The raging, cold light that had seemed to dwarf even the blizzard howling around them...

"WAR IS NOTHING WITHOUT POWER AND CONTROL. IT SEEMS I MUST DRIVE THIS POINT HOME ONCE MORE."

Hex plated shielding whirling and flickering with their every clash, blunting her every attack...

"COME, MAD DOG, AND I WILL SHOW YOU THE MIGHT OF TRUE WAR."

If that was only a fraction of the might possessed by the technological master of Eternity's End...then Almedha could only grin at the thought of what Walter K. Black would be capable of at his full power.

Giving a maniacal chuckle, Almedha was certain about one thing:

Next time they met, she would have to return the favor.

JESUS CHRIST THO CALM DOWN

This was CRAZY INTENSE on the stream last night, and the glowing effect was absolutely beautiful. Also, after so many years, I FINALLY get to show him with his Hex shields, as he was the first one that inspired me to create that defense.

This is what happens when I get so pissed off at Game of Thrones I help design a character to break it in half.

I probably have a problem. 8'D

Also this time, featuring a short story written by my good buddy and featuring two of his Northern characters, Almedha and Skalli, with Almedha here for those unfamiliar with her.
