As promised, the first of my forays into the world of Pokemon!

My current team of all stars:

Flagship: Straker, the massive Drapion that's looming in the background. Yes, I am well aware that that's not what a Drapion looks like, but considering that THIS [link] was my first contact with it, you can excuse me for being a bit peeved at his actual appearance in-game. If anyone asks, it's because of the Dread Plate he always carries. What? You thought they just carried it around as a rock tablet? Hell no! They're godly creations, so I figure they can change to suit their holder! Anyway, in his case, it took the form of a new appearance, but with the same stat boosting as if he was a normal Drapion, which he still is in everything but appearance. He's the most destructive of the whole team, with brute strength that'll OBLITERATE anything in his path, Straker lives for the thrill of battle, always hungering for greater strength.

Gardevoir: The beautiful lady on the right, named Maria, her Plate is the Mind Plate, which chaged into the long, flowing collar around her shoulders. The 'mage' of the team, her specialty lies in the variety of her moves, possessing four different types, meaning that you'll have to be DAMNED lucky not to get hit with one that's not super-effective against you.

Vespiquen: Vespa, on the left, is the last of my three main fighters. (The number has since increased to four but that was after this was drawn. Oh well.) With stupidly high defense, Sp. Defense and HP, Vespa can take anything you throw at her and then some. And don't think just cause she's a Bug-type you can get her with flight specialists, either! She's got a nasty anti-air trick up her sleeve that'll knock you clear outta the sky! And believe me, if you think she's bad, she's the NICER one of the two sisters! Her older sister, Kerrigan, is the very DEFINITION of Queen Bitch! (Trust me, there's a reason why I named her Kerrigan!)

Luxray: Vee's a bit...well, odd. She'll fry your ass ROYALLY with Electric moves and then bite whatever's left to pieces!

Scyther and Scizor: The duo that I prefer to use for tag-team battles, Tri-Edge (Scizor) is the older, more mature brother, while Arturia (Scyther) is the hotheaded, reckless younger sister. Again, don't think you can trump them just with type advantages, because as always, my forces specialise in variability!

Houndoom: Because wherever there's the Darkbreaker, there's always gotta be a Cerberus! And ironically, he's got the one move that probably GUARANTEES the ass-whooping of a lifetime: Beat Up. Believe me, you are DEFINITELY going to feel that in the morning!

And finally, there is rumor of one other Pokemon in this picture. He's not an official member of the Darkbreaker's team, though. As a Legendary, he does sort of have a job to do. As a result, he's sort of like a contracted Pokemon, showing up every now and then when he feels like it, and with no obligation whatsoever to the Darkbreaker.

A hint: Where the son of the god of death goes, Nightmares are sure to be close behind...

There'll be more pics coming along, more individual sort of things, and my team may get a bit bigger as I continue to play Platinum. BTW, my new fourth favorite is a Frosslass named (suitably) Pandora!

See ya then!

You do a pic like this for Digimon. Remember that show? I've been trying to do one based on a combo of Angemon and Beezlemon [link]

I would call him "BlastAngemon".....Ultimate form.

Pretty Cool! Very nice job. Pretty mean looking team. We'll have to battle sometime, even though, at the current levels of my pokemon, I'm sure I'd get my butt whopped..

Nah, don't worry about it. The game automatically equalizes the levels of the two teams, so it's more fair.

And also, I'm running it on an emulator, not the official handheld, so I wouldn't know how to connect to your system even if we did decide to duke it out!

The levels, but the move sets and stats still could go a long way.

And on an emulator? Aww. I don't know if it's even possible to connect at all. What a drag.

You know, I'd been wondering about that myself...

I believe it IS possible, since from what I'm hearing, the Captain and S.Z did just that! (He lost.)

Apparently only he knows how to do it though, so we're still trying to get in touch with him to figure out just how the heck it works, though...

BTW, you remember that time I asked you if you had a personal character for yourself, sort of like Crimson and Ravi from and ? Any luck with that since then?

I've got the character build almost done. She just needs fine tuning on her stats and powers. Her pictures are just about done to.

Then she just needs a story. Since, it is you're story she's going to fit into, I was going to ask you about that.

Hmm...Well, it depends. What've you got for her so far?

Villain names, a sort of generalised history, stats and powers and stuff like that.

Just tell me what you've got, and I'll see if I can help you finish building her. After that, then we'll see how it could fit into the world of the Division.

Alright, I'll send you a note with her profile later on tonight, or tomorrow. I need to try and catch up on a few things today.

Nice team. Remind me not to challenge you anytime soon, cause I doubt my team is high enough yet.

Ooh! You've got a team? Who's on it?

And I play Platinum on a DS emulator on the computer, so I don't have the slightest clue how to connect it with other people's own. I couldn't challenge you, even if I wanted to!

Also, the system automatically equalizes the levels of the two teams so it's a fair match.

Or so I've heard from SZ who fought the Captain using the SAME kind of emmulator. Only the Captain knows how to set it up though, so I've been trying to get in touch with him.

Still no luck so far though...

My team is on HeartGold, and they consist of Lucario, Kabutops, Ninetails, Tyranitar,Gyarados(red), and Gengar. I also have my own Darkrai, along with Kyogre, Rayquaza, Mewtwo, and the legendary birds. Good luck getting a hold of the Captain. BTW, the music really suits the pic and I can see Darkbreaker in Pokemon graphics with "You are challenged by Alexander Darkbreaker!" in a text box.

ACK! Looks like you went out of your way to hunt down some Legendaries yourself! Not just that, but your more common fighters are still plenty rare enough as they are!

Wait...you've got HeartGold? For emulator, or do you have the actual game for DS?

'Cause if you've got it for an emulator...

Must. Have!

Hell, just for a chance to fight the epic Blue and the legendary Red!

'Pkmn trainer Alexander Darkbreaker would like to battle!' Heh heh heh...Man, if only I could hack some sprites for that...!

Crimson43 In reply to TheDarkbreaker [2010-07-05 15:44:09 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I did kinda go out of my way to get them. All of them except Darkrai, Cressealia, Giritina, Palkia, and Dialga are available on HeartGold. Sorry, no emulator, it's the actual game. I'm 100% sure the Darkrai I got is'nt the event one, cause the attitude "impetuous and silly" does'nt come to mind when you think about Darkrai. Sprites for members of the Division would be really cool. Unfortunatley, trainers might think S.Z. is an actual Pokemon instead of a Trainer...

*wince* Ooh, yeah, that might be a problem. Not for us though, but probably more for the hapless noob who tries to catch S.Z!

I do NOT envy those guys in the slightest.

Aw, nerts. Guess I'll have to resort to my regular op of scouring the vast wasteland of information that is teh interwebz in the hopes of tracking down a ROM of it.

How'd you get your Darkrai?

Crimson43 In reply to TheDarkbreaker [2010-07-10 20:44:52 +0000 UTC]

AYeah, I'll feel sorry for the fool that tries to catch S.Z. I got Darkrai froma friend. Oh, I forgot that Deoxys is'nt available too, but they have meteorites to change his form.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheDarkbreaker In reply to Crimson43 [2010-07-10 21:54:36 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I know about the meteorites. I think I might just see about getting my hands on Deoxys in Platinum...After all, that ability to change forms falls under the category of 'Variability' and as you know, Variable Combat happens to be my personal favorite method of fighting!

And I got a code for Darkrai's event item, so I'll go get him the official way!

...Unfortunately, it means I can't do anything until I get Cresselia, and to get Cresselia I have to get the National Dex and to get the National Dex I have to beat the Elite Four PLUS Cynthia...

Yeeeeeah, this might take a while...

Lol, Pkmn Trainer used one Ultra Ball!

Foe S.Z went berserk!

Pkmn Trainer fled!

*snicker*

Nice music. Goes well with the pic.

That's cool what you did with Straker. Btw, I tried following that link, and it took me to a pretty much empty page. IDK WTF that's about, just thought I'd warn ya.

Did you really give Maria cleavage? Not that that's a bad thing, mind you, it just seems a tad strange.

Kerrigan? Really? Okay, let me get outta... wait, that can't be the Kerrigan I'm thinking of (I hope...) Aherm, anyway, nice Brood War quote there.

Yeah, nice Legendary. He's actually the only one Jas would worry about, since he could follow Jas into his home realm.

Damn. Well, give me a chance to fix that and I'll get back to you. I'll message you when it gets fixed.

No, Maria doesn't have cleavage. She might have curves, yes, but not that. I think it was just my usual attempts to emphasise a more feminine sort of look for her.

Anything else, I blame on the Mind Plate's effect! *Runs away*

Kerrigan...Kekeke! Like I said, there's a reason I decided to name that Vespiquen that! And yes, the inspiration for it WAS that Kerrigan you're thinking of!

Looks like you spotted the legendary!

Jas? I take it that's your character?

shadowblade3 In reply to TheDarkbreaker [2010-07-02 14:47:35 +0000 UTC]

Tnx.

Well, that's a relief. 'Cause if she did, I would be seriously weirded out.

If she's actually worthy of that name...HOLY F@$K!

Yeah, when I was looking it confused me, but then I read the description.

Yes, that's my poor character, who currently is being hunted by SZ for a comment on her "Celtis Lineart". It's getting pretttty ridiculous how far she's chasing the poor guy.
