"For God's Sake! HOW DO YOU STOP IT!!!"
I wanted to capture a bit of all the films on this one, and evoke the feeling of the fact that Ash's battle with the Deadites will never really be over, and they'll just swirl around and around in our heads on and on through the ages - you know how it goes, right?

and also for the man himself: Bruce Campbell -
he got to see it when he was in town promoting 'My Name is Bruce' (which by the way is quite a fun flick) - [link] - and he seemed to get a kick out of it! It's payed art now, by the way
.The Deadite Vortex, The Classic, and the 'strange one' himself - Ash 'the one with the gun' Williams - and EDIT - I even threw in the hand clutching the ever ominous Kandarian Dagger!
I also did some tweaks on the colours, the levels, the contrast, and I think the hand & dagger help the composition overall, as well.
OK... NOW I think it's finished. Course', I'll probably decide to add a tree, and a deadite, and the laughing lamp, the moose head, and maybe even some debris, this time next year, making it complete overkill, right?

Pretty good likeness of Bruce, were I him in this pic though I might have went for the eye lol. Got to meet him once at a book signing for his biograghy... Awesome guy, and funny as hell.

Did they really make a game based on the Army of Darkness?

They've made a handful of them actually - Hail to the King is one of them, Regeneration I from THQ is another, and then there's A Fistfull of Boomstick.

I've only played a bit of the Fistful game (think Hunter: The Reckoning, if you've ever played that).
I haven't played Regeneration, but it looks like lots of fun. I'm not too sure about having a midget deadite sidekick though...
I suppose if you're a big enough fan of the movies they'd be worth playing, perhaps for the story and to see what they do with that. Plus Bruce Campbell does the voice overs, so that's a bonus. Although, sometimes it feels like they've tried too hard with the one liners, and they seem to be rehashed versions of all the classic one liners, instead of whole new ones... Kinda makes it not very natural, if that makes sense? Kinda force I supposed... like, wanna be Ash one liners. Instead of original Ash-like dialogue. But then again, I haven't played them all the way through. So yeah... blah blah

Oh, no no. Not a plush version. I mean, one with a complete interior, etc... Anyways, I've done one for , I just have to paint it and upload it sometime. You'll see what I mean.
And yeah, the cthulhu plush is great, so is the christmas chtulhu! I have a chtulhu finger puppet I got from the fine folks over at [link]

I really love the lighting effect you added at the books mouth and the fact that you showed a itty bitty bit of the lettering they use on the pages on the book is a great detail...the pages look killer
