Absolutely stunning. I especially love the vibrant contrast between her eyes and her lips. It really makes her seem like she's alive; as if she could step off of the page at any moment.

Really watercolour? I can see the shadowing in the hood, but that could be done in acrylics too, and the colours in the face and hair look stronger than I'm used to in watercolour.

All watercolors. I got this new Winsor and Newton watercolor set and it is great. It even has a grey that I used for all the painting of the cloth. The face took a bit of time building many layers to get the right values.

The depth shows (but I think it also shows why even most traditional artists work in acrylic or oil rather than watercolour these days?)
The face is nice, but the folded hood is brilliant.
