Description
In our version of the Space: 1889 world, The Diud Empire is based out of the Diud homeworld, Neptune. They are currently in conflict with the Vuchelk'shi Autocracy, whose homeworld is Titan, orbiting Saturn. The military forces of both races are fighting over various resources of Jupiter's major moons and, tentatively, Mars itself.

This ship design was inspired by the French ship Bouvet, launched in 1896, and sunk on 18 Mar 1915 with a loss of 24 officers and 619 men while in combat with Ottoman shore fortifications.
