Description
I suddenly realized that I couldn't very well work WW1 without touching the Russo-Japanese War of 1904.... crap. Okay *fine*.Also, it occurred to me that I may be able to do a First... Put RPG stats to the oft-forgotten Colt-Browning Model 1895 Machine Gun. Take that, Gatling!! As a bonus I'll toss in a couple of grenades... get it?
On a side note, if you have something snide to say about the stats I've put on these, you better put a comparable game stat/rule to your post, with page number and paragraph from the book, that makes my stat unrealistic or unusable. Otherwise, you've never played Space: 1889, and don't know what you're talking about. To those who have played it, these stats should be instantly recognizable, and well within the source material's parameters.
For the M1895, I used the Maxim stats but lowered the range slightly and added the shots limit to reflect the gun's propensity to overheat if fired in long bursts. Otherwise, it had a rate of fire comparable to a Maxim or a Vickers.
