If you know me, you know I love gnolls. If you know anything about gnolls, you know that Wizards of the Coast has disrespected gnolls in D&D 5e! They went from a monstrous and generally assholish species to a race of irredeemable monsters who exist solely to murder. Their culture is solely focused on murdering and causing pain more effectively. They literally burst from the stomachs of hyenas that eat the viscera of the victims of gnoll attacks, etc etc.

This was bad enough at first, but then they started a huge push for removing biological determinism from a lot of their monstrous races. Orcs, Drow, Yuan-ti, etc got parts of their text blocks describing things like taking slaves, generally being evil, etc.

But GNOLLS!? Nothing.

They've been playable since FUCKING D&D BASIC, and in 5e they decided that they're just going to be irredeemable monsters despite their growing popularity with players and communities. Apparently KEITH BAKER the writer of Eberron had to self publish an expansion of Eberron (Exploring Eberron) because they wouldn't talk to him about publishing the fucking gnolls!

Anyway, I rant about this all the fucking time, so I drew myself as Eleanor Abernathy , but with gnolls.
