Rewatched the Pokémon pilot episode for the first time since being a kid, and then felt inspired to interpret the little monster babies appearing in e01 of one of my favorite (late-) childhood shows. A couple of people has, since, pointed out a perceived anti-consumerist undertone of it, but honestly (at that point my brain was still a clueless, fuzzy mess - and I honestly probably couldn't even have told you what "consumerism" meant to save my life - so) I just wanted to draw some cute stuff (and sometimes that's entirely OK, too, I think).
