Description
This is my latest cut-out from a red matboard as opposed to my usual black cut-outs. This piece is a present for my grandfather's 80th birthday and I wanted to represent the cycle of rebirth and longevity using a Phoenix and a Dragon. While cutting out this piece I accidentally cut myself twice on the hands!! So, some of my blood is actually part of the piece now...red on red xp I can now say I bleed for my art!! hehe ^_^ hope you guys enjoy it!Related content

I really like this piece its so very intricate, and delicate while very powerful at the same time.
My favorite part of it is the design in the center, the phoenix and dragon are very well done also. I have no complaints about this piece at all.

thanks! The phoenix took a very very long time but turned out smoothly in the end. The center design is of my own imagination and I'm glad you like it ^_^
