ahaha, if you miss the final concert at my school, you fail xD only excuses of death or sickness are allowed. i'm sure you had a valid excuse. my final concert reflected how hard our band worked the second half of the year... and that is not at all. i wasn't very satisfied with the work ethic of my peers this year, and i'm hoping it'll be a lot better next year. what kind of music are you studying now?

classical. lyric, contemporary. it´s a classical school, we don´t have jazz or pop or rock... we study beethoven,bach, brahms, mozart(and others) and in contemporary music we study composers like karlheinz stockhausen, berio, and others XD but now i´m jaming with friends and we kinda are a band we have a pianist and two singers(they´re twins). i´m the percussionist and me and my friend also sing the back vocals it´s a girls band lol. we´re playing non classical music (a little bit with jazz influences) x)
we´re hoping the headmaster of our school let us do an audition with only our songs. the´re really nice. it´s completely different in comparision to what we study and it´s so much fun! x)

yeah i love singing too.. actually if you record yourself you improve a lot because you start to notice all your mistakes and missing tempos... it´s funny because we started (my band) to do music because one of our friends was going to college and we decided to do a song for her and then we saw that it was really cool to play together and we started to do more songs.. XD

that's very true, recording helps you realize your faults that you otherwise would have passed over. i'm soon to be in a band as a drummer with a senior from my high school and a freshman in college. we're hoping we can play a few venues for some extra cash and just for fun of course.

well i´m gonna have a lot of fun, but the kind of music we will play it´s horrible. it´s pimba music xD i´m portuguese and in any "arraial" (sorry but i don´t know how to translate this word, but i think in english it must be translated as something like a party in a small village..) and in this things, this "party" we play "traditional portuguese music" i hate this kind of music.. if you want to know what i´m talking about you can put on youtube tony carreira or something like that, but i may warn you: it´s horrible x) but anyway we have good music too
