Description
66 mya in a location now known as the Hell Creek Formation, an assault just occurred between a middle aged Tyrannosaurus rex and a herd of Edmontosaurus annectens. The epilogue of the tyrant's assault has resulted in the large tyrant standing victorious on top of a fallen Edmontosaurus. The fallen Edmontosaurus has a large, gaping bite wound at the base of the neck which caused instant shock and then death to the creature. The tyrant looks down at its prize while some avisaurid birds clean the tyrant of irritating parasites. The predator hasn't had a meal in a couple of weeks and it will need the food the rebuild its strength for its long and prosperous reign. This deviation is the second part of a two part series that was made to celebrate and honor the 148th birthday of Barnum Brown or the person who discovered and named Tyrannosaurus rex(besides Henry Fairfield Osborn and Edward Drinker Cope). The first part of this series can be found here .
There is also a sketch version which can be seen here .
Update:02/12/2020 - Changed parts of the face on Tyrannosaurus and added more flesh to the thighs, back, and abdomen

Why thanks.
I think the look slimmer due to how they were posed.
