General bordom used in a constructive manner.
And I know that Willy Wonker wouldn't have runes on his cane, but sod it, I wanted them in the pic. I would have done a border, but I couldn't think of anything decent for it. Having a bit of an art block.
EDIT: And after reading the book I realised his hair must be black. I did this after painting it. I have very few brain cells.
All painted in water colours. Font in photoshop. I wish I could write like that. I also wish I could make coherent scentences. It must just be one of those days.
Words are from the into to 'Portrait of an American Family', which in turn is mostly from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Except for the bit about the reaper. Somewhat obviously.

Don't tell anyone but the original film is one of my favourite films. Ever.
What's really cool is if you go to the Tesco's in Enfield Town there's this bloke that works in there that really looks like Willy Wonka. I can't help but laugh everytime I see him.

I couldn't sit through that film when I was a kid because the Oompa Loompas freaked me out too much.
And now I'll have to find that guy in Tesco and just laugh. Hopefully he won't take offence and punch me.

Yes....it's tough trying to draw a person as anime....
In order to make it look like them, you have to capture a character's features. (like noses, eyes, clothing, hair-style...etc) The hard part is keeping it simple anime.

aaah its gonna be awesome , apparantly where i work is gonna be doing some of the lighting for it , so gonna get some info on what its gonna be like and stuff.. sometimes my job is cool

Very cool concept. Love that cane Willy's got on him, and the words fit well. Is that watercolor? The coloring here is quite well done. Nice job.
