Crows are hard to capture, they don't seem to like to have their pictures take, I have a lot of empty sky shots where there were crows. This has some nice wing detail.

Yes very twitchy birds, especially when you point and star clicking away at them, patience is the best thing to have when after Crows

oh you need the superhuman speed for that split second moment, just that it normally means some hours to get that chance

I think I already told you how I love corvids!!
This is like a mysterious shot...the effect of his wing being in focus but the body out of focus is brilliant.....captures the "personality" of the bird well!

They are cracking birds, especially in the right light to show all the plumage and colours they can produce. its a shot i could never get again no doubt
and nice to show them in a different light and angle, and they have so much personality

Brilliant...for all the wrong reasons (I'm sure you know what I mean).
I do like it though. Looks like the wing is coming right out of that frame.
