1 Darkseid: “Godfrey. I presume you have compiled your report on the issues surrounding Earth.”
1 Godfrey: “Oh, Master, indeed I have. Of first importance, I wish to confirm that your vessel and long-term plans appear unaffected, in the broad strokes. The child remains secure and hidden; and the hostiles manipulated by the Joker have shown no interest in acquiring it.”
2 Darkseid: “Excellent. Where are all our assets?”
2 Godfrey: “All safely outside the continent controlled by the Joker. They are usable, but will be lost if they enter the continent as it stands now. Their intel is thus somewhat… removed.”
3 Darkseid: “This is an unexpected variable. And… device.”
3 Godfrey: “Yes, the device. For what its worth, their weapon is distantly related to the deity Senemut was studying. The one who appeared able to wield Anti-Life forces.”
4 Darkseid: “I remember.”
4 Godfrey: “This weapon reputedly may have killed his son.”
5 Darkseid: “Killed a god?”
5 Godfrey: “I haven’t had the time or resources to investigate it thoroughly, but I would recommend taking it seriously. Even, possibly, having value to furthering the project.”
6 Darkseid: “Indeed. I would have that researched further.”
6 Godfrey: “It will be as you wish, my Lord.”
