1 Batman: “Keep a low profile, I said. And then you beat everyone at rope climbing when you’re like a million months pregnant and supposed to be a lazy rich kid.”
2 Stephanie: “I’m not quite that far along, jerk. And my cover is that I was on the gymnastics team at my old school, remember?”
2 Batman: “So what have you found? Evidence of murder?”
3 Stephanie: “Her roommate says she was the happiest she’d ever seen her. Not the attitude of a suicide.”
3 Batman: “Good. Work the roommate for information. Who last saw her alive? Get close to everyone you can.”
4 Stephanie: “Actually, I’ve already started making enemies here.”
4 Batman: “Damn it, that was fast.”
5 Stephanie: “I can’t help it! Some of the girls here are such bitches! You wouldn’t believe some of the crude things this girl Erika said about you.”
5 Batman: “Don’t let things get personal for you, and don’t blow a lead sticking up for me. The important thing is justice for Charlotte, okay? Remember that.”
6 Stephanie: “I know, but…”
6 Batman: “No buts. Neither your comfort nor my reputation are worth more than justice for the innocent.”
