1 Batman: “Good to see that you’re going to the free clinic instead of soaking the taxpayer.”
2 Spoiler: “Well, Doctor Thompkins knows both of us in and out of costume. That kind of makes her the logical choice, free clinic or not. I can’t exactly tell a normal doctor ‘hey, I pulled this muscle climbing a building, and hey, can you look at this bruise? I got it fighting some purse snatcher’.”
3 Batman: “You could just say you fell down the stairs.”
3 Spoiler: “I don’t want anyone thinking I’m trying to cause a miscarriage.”
4 Batman: “Or say that you’re into really, really kinky things in bed.”
4 Spoiler: “Gross. Stop trying to take a beautiful thing like pregnancy and turn it into some filthy creepshow.”
5 Batman: “I always referred to it as ‘Cautionary Tale’ rather than ‘Beautiful’.”
6 Spoiler: “And that’s why people think you’re out of touch. You need to associate with more than just the scum of Gotham’s underworld.”
7 Batman: “Cautionary Tale.”
8 Spoiler: “You know, in ‘Juno’, she called it ‘the Cautionary Whale.’”
9 Batman: “Heh, that’s a good one. If that isn’t the best thing in the movie you’ve just ruined, I might actually have to watch it.”
