I was listening to Blur's Tender when the idea for this sketch came to mind. Simple and to the point.Everyone needs a hug or cuddle once in a while, even Murdoc, LOL.
I suppose this could coincide with a scene from my fan fic, or it could just be a random sketch of my OC with the Gorillaz bassist.

I really liked how this one turned out. The pose wasn't quite what I pictured, but the message came through pretty clearly.
It all amounts to how things eventually progress with them. He's not really a cuddler, she's not terribly big on the whole comforting thing.....but they have their moments.

I actually thought about the scene in the bar after Alex had been taken and Murdoc came looking for Hailey after they'd had words. He just sounded totally lost and in need of comfort right then, so that's when I pictured this scene happening, him too distressed to care about a public display of affection, her a little distracted, but at least, there for him when he so desperately needed her.

That's kinda where my head was as I drew that one. The scene I was thinking.
They're lost. They don't know what to do. They can't get help without risking everything. It's a position I would never want to be in.
