This picture was started 15 years ago, but only finished recently. It is my first picture using pointism. It's one of those pictures that I would do a bit and then leave and put to one side. I am really pleased with the end result.Related content

I am sure you must be pleased with the result! I am in awe with this drawing and in
pointillism, which requires much time and effort. I think I can say the same with ALL of your
drawings and so my remarks will have to suffice in this message box....I may have to
put you on my watch because your drawings are in inspiration for me! I'm not as detailed in
my drawing in ballpoint pen, but you're welcome to view more of those. I have another
one to submit later this week.

what tpe of paper do you prefer ? Have you experimented with color with this style of work? Keep up the wonderful work

I use a uncoated paper.
I have tried with colour and prefer the contrast of black and white.

Thanks. The pure black trunks on the right are where I first started the picture. Later, the trees on the left were added. I'm not sure which ones I prefer.
