Description
I had this random idea pop into my head so I started to draw it and came up with this character. I'm still not sure what it is, more than likely it's a Reaper or a Shinigami, so i decided to call it Reaper. I love the eyes on its wings and the spell tags all over him.My site: rushelle.com/

reminds me what i was going to do
except my isnt bones...and looks alot like that cept with scales and the the scythe is different...and doesnt have wings
im going to call it the Reaper of the Abyss, and theres going to be a portal beside with something trying to come out[another reaper]
i came up with it in composition class, we needed to have a visual for our Halloween poems so yea

i made new creature lately
and its name is Zaxzasax
oddly named i know...but eh
when i showed people at school they were like what the heck!? haha
till i told them its only like that because its going on all 4 and the support legs...much shorter standing up
i cant wait to draw it on here...but need to finish the standing verson

Amazing character, and those eyes in the wings remind me of Hellboy II: The Golden Army. There was a creature in the movie with similar wings, if I remember correctly. Oh, I so loved that thing... ^^

Oh yes! The Angel of Death! I will say that Guilemore Del Toro is a huge inspiration for me (The director of Hellboy films). I always loved how he would place eyes in the oddest spots, or a odd amount. Like The Angel of Death, Samiel in the first Hellboy had seven eyes, the monster with eyes on his palms in Pan's Labyrinth, etc. So he was definitely an inspiration for this.

Pretty damn badass! You're right, the eyes and spell tags set it apart from the countless other reapers. And, obviously, your artistic and creative talents, the red lining of the cloak, the bones pressing through the cloak and the strange, stunted scythe... All making a magnificent piece. It would be nice to know what it's right hand is doing, cause that could change the tone of the piece (pointing, a fist, swearing, reaching etc), but apart from that all seems cool.
