I finally drew the big guy himself, Cthulhu! I sketched this months ago, but haven't been able to color it till these last few weeks. This is my first full drawing done with Photoshop and Corel Painter. I learned how to use Painter this last semester in my Digital Media class. I like how it mimics traditional medium, and all the different brushes. I still use Photoshop though, both have their pros and cons. Anyways, hope you enjoy. In his house he waits dreaming... Nice ammount of detail, all those tentacles must have taken a while. The only thing that I would have done different is make the 'wet look' stronger. I can see it on his head if I look closely but I think the white highlights could have been a bit more pronounced.

AWESOME painting, Dragon! I love the posture, and that expression is priceless. Also, the way you made it seem like that tentacle is coming right at the viewer is amazing! Such wicked sweet level of detail...I can imagine this as the cover to a book of H.P.Lovecraft stories quite easily. Or better yet, as a poster!
