I made this up while doodling around, I didn't really have this creature planned out in my head when I came up with it, It just came out of my random sketching. I call these Arachnoids (I know, right? Creative!). They're very similar to a centaur, only instead of part human and part horse it's part human and part spider. They are a very aggressive and deadly beast that live underground below cities. They feed on whatever they can catch, even humans. They live in huge colonies, but they are not intelligent enough to work together like bees or ants would. What is creepy about them is their skin isn't like a normal spiders, it's a lot like human flesh, It is very disturbing how human, yet how nonhuman they really are.Rust texture by

Ah yes, your creature appear more intelligent too. My Arachnoids are more beast like. Like a good example of their behavior are the monsters in the movie "The Descent".

The touch of human-ness is wonderful(ly frightening). I think that's also why zombies are so scary too, haha.
