Description
I had a little time recently to work on items for my portfolio I decided to put together a new new sculpt sheet and a few decos for my portfolio (so no this isn’t being made). And since I had just binged watched (and enjoyed) the new Daredevil series on Netflix I went with that.
This project incorporated a lot of thing I’m already familiar with, but also had some components that helped to push me a little. First off I didn’t know the first thing about Marvel Legends 6″ scale figures. I had to learn all about the articulation used on the ML figures as well as the variation in height with in the line. Another thing that really pushed me was how hard it was to find good reference images of the DD costume. It’s only used in like 7 minuted of footage tops and always in the dark.

Some of the feature on our hero with out fear include:

Fully Articulated Marvel Legends-Style Body
MCU accurate (or as close as I could get) Costume
104% sculpt height of 6.76″ for a production height of 6 1/2″
2x Removable Batons and Holster
Alternate “non-actor likeness” head

I avoided the actor likeness as that seems to be the style of the ML line even on movie/TV products to an extent, but it’s still close enough that from a distance your eyes make you think it’s the right face. The figure has construction similar to other ML figures with an additional set of glued on overly gauntlets to cover up the pin hole that connects the lower arm to the elbow.
