All I can say to this one is.. Phew!!!

I've been working on this for the last few days, searching for resources and what not to create Eclipse, my second RP character after Blaze. I had to buy the jewerly for her as there was nothing in the freebies I could locate. Took ages to get the face acceptable too, I'm not even going to go into the hair and how much of a problem that was.

So yes, this is Eclipse. The only character I've ever made with a whole "Alternative" universe background to her as I never really like those storylines.

Eclipse comes from a Desert World and by all rights should not exist given the nature of her background. Both her parents are from our own world, her father a former Nazi German commander in World War II, her mother a Japanese assassin who worked during the Russo-Japan War.

Both Eclipse's parents were brought out of our world into the mystical desert world of Shayala by an entity known as Syn. She recruited the pair along with dozens of other talents to create them into "Priests", elite soldiers for her growing army upon her quest to take Shayala as her own world. Syn named her army as the "Fallen" with the Priests proving to be the major backbone of all her minions. Though their former personalities had left both Eclipse's parents, they managed to fall in love with each other during all the conflict, resulting in the birth of Eclipse.

Syn discovered the child, weak and frail due to the alterations to her parents when they were fashioned into priests. Syn intended to kill the child seeing she was slowly dying when she initially intended to adopt her, but was confronted by Eclipse's mother. Already charged with treason for bringing life into the Fallen. Eclipse's mother was killed, but against all the odds, her father, known only as "Father Ruin" in Shayala managed to defeat Syn and avenge her.

It was in her dying moments that Syn crawled to the dying Eclipse, transfering her very being into the small child, giving her powers to Eclipse and herself. Her previous body was soon executed by Ruin who took the new name of Heresy due to his betrayal of the Fallen Because of the new found strength, Eclipse survived, granted half the powers of Syn, capable of casting and manipulating dark energy from within her. She was also granted Syn's immortality, and stopped aging at twenty years old.

Due to Syn's destructive ways, Shayala was still brought to ruin even after her apparent death, and so Heresy found a means to take his daughter back to his own world were he once belonged. Now she lives in our world as an enforcer of justice having been brought up well by her mentors Heresy left her with when she was but a child.

Unfortunatley, Syn still lives as an entity within Eclipse. The two depend on each other to live and cannot be seperated. Though Eclipse is the dominant entity with Syn within her body, there are times when Syn can unleash herself, taking over Eclipse's body during times of great distress. Such times can be very dark and dangerous given Syn's destructive and menacing ways.

That's her story in very brief, there's more to it given I could go on for about an hour indepth, but it basically explains things. Eclipse always seems to be popular with others both IC and OOC, though I initially started her off as a very serious and somewhat uptight character, as time went on she quickly became a very charming, kind and bubbely character.

Her cluelessness of our world makes for some comic relief moments, yet there is also a very serious side to her through her own background and her problems with the entity Syn. She basically uses dark energy that is very destructive when she wants it to be through her casting of it. She can also channel the energy to make herself stronger or tougher, though even without the energy she still has very good strength and endurance. She also has the powers of flight and can created forcefields and what not that her dark energy can absorb damage and what not.

She's quite strong and a good team player, but she becomes my most powerful, (or at least potentially most powerful depending on the situation) when Syn is unleashed. Its clear when Syn is in control when her skin turns deathly pale, hair turns black and her eyes turn black. I'll probably make a Syn version on poser when I buy a pale skin add on, and I'll go more into Syn and her powers then.

Anyways... this is Eclipse, joint fav character next to Blaze I'll probably start using her in a few works from now on.
