Description
It has spread through the entire complex, crushing and tearing apart anything its tendrils could grasp. The creature was free, set loose by a mad scientist who was soon mutilated by his own creation along with his colleagues.

The creature would break out into the surface if not stopped... it would bring a reign of terror upon the innocent civilians that dwelled above.

The complex was a secret, heeding no warning to those above. No one had anyway of knowing that such an unforgiving and terrible monster would soon bring an end to their lives. No one knew of the potential slaughter and tragedy that could strike in mere minutes...

That was until two faced off against the monstrous beast.. both the first and last line of defence for those that could not defend themselves. As the powerful tendrils loom closer to the two brave warriors who stand between the creature and it's freedom...

If there is one thing that is certain, this will not end well...

... for the creature.

Well I gave mention that I might give a little dedication to some characters I have taken a liking too on this site... and hence forth I ended up creating this image which features Kostmeyers Vigil, in a one shot team up with my own character Blaze. Hopefully this will be a first of a few images that feature my characters teaming up with others.

I think out of both my characters, Vigil would have got along a lot better with someone like Eclipse given Eclipse's more friendly persona. When I started making this however, I just thought it would look cooler to have Vigil side by side with Blaze and a big gun.

The tentacles were added at the very last minute, as initially I was going to have the pair just standing together in a bit of a pose. I think it brings a lot more to the image however if there is a potential threat coming towards them, so I slapped in a few pre made tentacles. Needless to say, I think there isn't much chance for the creature.

So yeah, this Highlight goes to Vigil, a character I've grown very fond of and followed for some time since I joined up in this site. I've done a few fan art pieces with her before and I really enjoy using the model so I was glad to use it again.

I'm not sure how well Blaze and Vigil will get along, but I know they will probably work well enough as a team to obliterate this creature with Vigil's immense psychic powers and Blaze's heavy tech in combination with her own reflexes and speed.
