Description
A sequal to the Vigil feature image featuring Kostmeyer's Vigil of course. I've been a bit low on ideas as of late so I thought I'd work with some of the other models that I've made. I thought I'd make it a direct sequal which basically shows Blaze and Vigil having prevailed over the tentacled monster.No doubt the murky waters around the pair helped contribute the mass growth of the creatures tendrils, but it seems our duo here managed to kill the source and leave the beast as nothing more then a corpse. It seems though that the two didn't get out of the battle untouched as Vigil's armour was tested beyond its limits whilst it seems some of the spikey trendrils may have caught glancing blows upon Blaze.
It was long work this image just for the PSP parts alone. I made many variations of the same image and overlapped them to get the effects seen with Vigil's shattered armour, the wounds and the lighting. I tried to go for a mirky appearance and I don't think I did too bad.

Now that I know how tall ( short ) Vigil is, I completely understand why Blaze is on her knees in both images

I just thought - we've seen the 'before' and 'after' images from this fight - are you going to fill in the gaps and show us the fight?

This is more of just the "after" of the fight. Whatever happened in that building resulted in Blaze being sent outwards with a big baddy close behind.
If I do show what happened in that building before Blaze went through the portal, I could always throw in some kind of flashback during the Secret Wars I guess to show how everything went down.

Fantastic as usual - I really like your take on Vigil as you know - even in this state (she doesn't look particularly bothered does she - I guess you get used to alien space monsters after a whle!) Looking forward to the SW stuff now more than ever!

A nice follow-up to your previous piece, I say. I especially dig how you managed the bruises all around, hard to pull off.
