Description
“It’s over Valentine! Just give it up and I won’t have to put a bullet in you.” Marcia commanded, her aim steady as Valentine stood on higher ground with her arms folded. A smile smeared its way upon her lips, looking upon both Marcia and Eclipse who stood beside her looking ready for battle.
“I believe it would be more wise to conserve your ammunition for a greater threat that approaches.” Valentine mentioned, motioning for both Marcia and Eclipse to turn around. It seemed Valentine was correct as many men and women under her influence all began to descend towards their location, wide eyes, completely out of their minds. Valentine had twisted them into her minions, brainwashing them, making them believe she was a goddess. Marcia took one look at the majority of the masses approaching, knowing they were ready to die for Valentine, knowing if they got close they would try and pull her apart.

“Oh my! So many people!” Eclipse gasped out in alarm, concern heavy in her tone for the people that had been turned into mindless zombies for Valentine.
“Dammit Valentine! Let them go!” Marcia shouted out, aiming her gun towards the crowd.
“So full of demands. It’s tragic that the two of you are so strong willed, I would have added you to my army… but alas, there are some things we cannot avoid. Such a waste…” Valentine spoke, turning as she began to leave the pair. By now the shouts and cries of rage could be heard as a mass of footsteps could be heard getting louder and louder as the seconds passed.
“Marcia, I will hold them off. You must stop Valentine, it might break the people from this madness.” Eclipse explained. Marcia was hesitant, but she could see the reason within Eclipse’s words. Nodding to her, she quickly climbed upwards, taking one last look to Eclipse.

“Be careful Eppy.” Marcia said, as Eclipse only smiled in a gentle manner back at her. Marcia knew she didn’t have much time, but she was going to use it to bring Valentine down as she began to give the woman chase. Marcia knew she was in for a fight, but she was more then ready for it as she watched Valentine slowly turn around to notice her.
“Where do you think you’re going? I’m not finished with you yet.” Marcia spoke, drawing her gun upwards before firing the first shot… one that would become many as the fight began.

I'm not going to lie, the feature images won't be posted as often now with the Secret Wars event kicking back up. However I will try and slip these feature images in as best I can between works for Chapter 9 of Kostmeyer's Secret Wars. I enjoyed the mini write up on this one, there is a sense of desperation between both Marcia and Eclipse as they take on the ever dangerous Valentine. I think this little write up pushes all involves quite a bit.

I chose to feature Marcia for two reasons, one, Branded-Curse has been very kind and featured my characters in many of his works! Two, she's a great character and as it happens, I was going to feature her anyway. Eclipse and Marcia can easily be friends, that muhch evident with Marcia calling Eclipse "Eppy", a short nickname only her friends address her with.

I do like how Marcia turned out when I made a poser version of her. She's not exactly spot on attire wise, but I think its close enough for you to know who she is on sight if you know Marcia. This image didn't take too long on poser, but the work I did with Paintshop did. Still, I'm pleased with how this came out. Looks like it will be Marcia and Blaze on the next upcoming image
