Description
This is an image I made as part of an art trade with an artist called Anattor. It is not often I get one of my own characters requested in trades, but Anattor wished to see Eclipse wearing her old attire in some kind of peril. The options were against a snake or a giant squid. As you can see I went with the latter option.This image turned out to be a challenge, but a very enjoyable one as I experimented quite a good deal making this image, as well as correcting details I normally leave out thanks to Anattor's observations. Whilst it is a fantasy image, Anattor was hoping to get a sense of realism and helped me a great deal sending me references to try and get that feel.
I'm very happy with the end result, and I believe Anattor is also pleased with this side of the request which is a joy to know. It's probably one of the best peril images I've made since a very long time, and I hope my first followers who still watch me for the peril works like this one.
Don't worry about Eclipse everyone, she makes it out of this one alive... and actually discovers later that night that Ocotpus is pretty tasty after catching and cooking a big one.

Absolutely breathtaking, no pun intended. Good use of lighting, great facial expression, and nice touch with two sets of bubbles. Just enough atmosphere to be underwater, but not too much to wash out any details. I'll be honest, this has got to be one of my, if not my favorite UW peril picture. Hope you decide to do some more similar pictures of Eclipse like this one. Also have to agree with Anattor, her old attire fits her better.

Thank you very much for the kind comment. I used to do a fair few peril images way back when and I do have to admit, I managed to do alright with this one. I had a little help from Anattor who reccomended positioning and what not as this was part of an art trade with said artist. I'm very glad that you like the image

I think you made a good creature choice: nice and fresh, compared to the slightly (if not enitrely) overused constrictor snake.

That's a great image! From Eclipse's pose and expression, to the colour choice and slight distortion effect caused by the water. Good stuff!

Not so good for Eppy!
But yeah, despite her situation this is probably one of the best images I've made just for the lighting and effects. I'll doubt I'll be able to do it again, as with every single image I ever make, (be it a stand alone image like this or a comic panel,) I'm just winging it every time 0_0
I did discover one effect that enhances images a little bit at least, so I'll probably be using that on a regular basis from now on. Don't worry about Eppy, as I said she'll be discovering a new dish on this night and find a new taste for squid.

lol - the benefit of single images - you never really have to explain - just leave it to the viewer's imagination how and why and what happens next! Winging it is the way forward of course! As long as we're trying new stuff we're always making progress - which is the point I guess! Anyway, a great image

Not a fan of vore myself, nor do my poor characters enjoy bad predicaments. They usually blast at it or aim a gun and shoot in its general direction for those without powers

Most of the images are non canon and just there to appease my peril fans. IC the girls are pretty tough, though poor Eclipse is due some good light as she hasn't had much of a chance yet here on DA.
As for the story you mention, that is cooolstorm's story. What happens is up to him and I think he's moved on from that story to a new one.
