terribly sorry for the inactivity, i've been busy with work....... and shit........ yeah..........heres more portraits, this time i focus more on value and contrast for a change, i think it turned out okay, but i definitely need more practice... like, WAAAY more
if you recognize any of them then that means im on the right track... if not, then i got more to add to the 'to improve' list

basically its like sculpting, but with a brush. i think its actually called brush-sculpting now that i mention it. but like sculpting, it starts witha slab of mush, then its refined and rendered over and over until it becomes a beautiful piece of work. unlike most digital paintings, theres almost-to-no guidleines (pencils, inks, etc) when you start a piece. but it ends up lookin awesome like what i see here. the strongest reason why i brought it up was because these are done in black'n'gray, like most brush-sculpting.
if this wasnt brush-sculpting, i'd love to see ur process

oh that yeah, my process is a mixture of that and some guidelines in the beginning. its more like me violently pushing and pulling the mess on the canvas till i get the shapes i want, so it is a pretty ugly process XD

is the third one on the far left the girl from warm bodies? the best friend of the girl who falls i love with the zombie? it's like most of these i can see some similar qualities to some actresses i might know, but it's like i can't quite put my finger on who it is. But i'd say you're really close and on the right track

Oh. Well it still looks amazing but in that case I do think that while the middle one is perfect, I immediately knew it was Kaya,the one on the left kinda reminded me of another actress or model, whose name I don't recall.
